Delrice Adams

Delrice Adams is a dedicated justice warrior, bringing nearly three decades of experience to her role as Executive Director of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA). Appointed by Governor J.B. Pritzker on January 4, 2020. Executive Director Adams oversees approximately $200 million in annual grant administration and guides the agency in shaping public safety policies, research, and best practices. Her expertise in criminal justice, violence prevention, and racial equity is instrumental in supporting the agency's mission. She champions a transparent and straightforward approach, prioritizing equity, fairness, and opportunity across all ICJIA grant programs and policies.

Nationally recognized, she also serves as vice president of the National Criminal Justice Association and co-chairs the Government Alliance for Safe Communities, a pioneering cross-governmental violence prevention advisory group.
