Program Success, Important Rapid Results Links, and Useful State Resources

The Rapid Results Initiative uses tools and techniques of Continuous Improvement, adapted from the Toyota Production System, to improve Illinois State Government Services. It is a team-based problem-solving approach that leverages the skills and knowledge of the people doing the work to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions. 
 
The Initiative empowers employees to visualize and analyze processes to improve flow, minimize wastes, and maximize customer value.​ 
 
The CMS Office of Operational Excellence offers hands-on training courses to help you integrate the Rapid Results Initiative into your agency. BUT, it doesn’t end there! The Office of Operational Excellence is committed to supporting you every step of the way, ensuring that you not only learn the principles, but apply them effectively.
